CAEE provides a certification process to ensure that environmental educators meet the highest standards of professional practice.  This program outlines recommendations for the level of knowledge and abilities educators need to provide high quality environmental education. 

CAEE and our network of facilitators deliver professional development in both environmental education practices and curricula.  Throughout the year, CAEE offers workshops for individuals and facilitator trainings to allow organizations to get the tools they need to train their staff, volunteers, and constitutents.

Guidelines workshops allow educators to build and refine their skills using the National Project for Excellence in Environmental Education.  CAEE plans several trainings throughout the year or provides trainings upon request for organizations and groups.
