Cory is a Leader In Training for the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies. He has put in approximately 400 hours into this program over the last 5 years. He has been a leader for this program and has inspired hundreds of campers to be stewards of the natural world. Cory deserves this award because of his reliability, commitment and enthusiasm for educating youth about birds and the natural world. He puts in more time than any other LIT and always shows up with a smile on his face. It is not easy being outside in the summer heat with ages 4-12 for 8 hours a day 5 days a week. Despite these and other challenges Cory excels in this environment.
