AmeriCorps Environmental Education Corps (eeCorps)
Are you committed to dedicating a year of service to expanding environmental education programming in Colorado?
Want to gain valuable experience, knowledge, and professional skills in the field of EE?
Enjoy getting outdoors and working with PreK-12 students?
If you've answered yes, then CAEE's Environmental Education Corps (eeCorps) might be the right opportunity for you!
Members of the eeCorps AmeriCorps program serve in many locations across the state of Colorado. They dedicate their term of service to building capacity of EE providers to implement the goals outlined in the Colorado Environmental Education Plan (CEEP). Members participate in projects that engage teachers, schools, and PreK-12 students such as developing and implementing new EE programs, increasing outreach efforts and impact of current programs offered, and expanding networking, support, and professional development opportunities for EE providers.
We currently do not have any available positions. Please check back with us early 2021!

AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs offering the opportunity for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to serve and meet community needs. Members address the most critical problems in the areas of education, economic opportunity, veterans and military family services, health, the environment, and disaster services.
In exchange for a specific term of service, AmeriCorps members earn a living allowance as well as an educational award to pay back qualified student loans or to finance college, graduate school, or vocational training. eeCorps is partnered with Serve Colorado and the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) to provide greater access to EE field experiences, programmatic content, and support to PreK-12 students, teachers, administrators, and nonformal EE practitioners.
