Professional dEEvelopment
CAEE and our network of facilitators deliver professional development in both environmental education practices and curricula. These learning opportunities are for both formal educators in the classroom as well as non-formal educators, which include zoo & nature center staff, camp and scout leaders, naturalists and park rangers, after-school program staff, natural resource professionals, and anyone with an interest in environmental education.
Throughout the year, CAEE offers three ways for individuals to widen perspectives, enhance skills, and further refine techniques in environmental education and facilitators to get the tools they need to train their staff, volunteers, and constituents. Read more about each and find current opportunities below.
- In-person: workshops and conferences
- Virtual synchronous: webinars and workshops
- Virtual asynchronous: self-paced courses
CAEE offers direct training opportunities for individuals as well as train-the-trainer opportunities for facilitators. Read more about CAEE's signature programs below.
