What is a Professional Learning Leader?

Professional Learning Leaders are supervisors, managers, consultants, community leaders or others who conduct trainings for their staff or other environmental and outdoor education practitioners, volunteers and/or teachers in their community. CAEE offers train-the-trainer workshops to help prepare professional learning leaders with the additional knowledge and skills they need to lead their own trainings in the following areas:

• Guidelines for Excellence in Environmental Education
• Careers in Natural Resources 
• Project Learning Tree: Early Childhood
• Research-based, tested EE Teaching Practices (a multi-session cohort training)
