Continuing Education Credit

Are you interested in earning continuing education credit at the Advancing Environmental Education Conference?

Colorado School of Mines Re-certification Credit: 

PLEASE NOTE- THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE:

You may earn up to 1 credit hour of continuing education credit through Colorado School of Mines (CSM) for participating in 15 contact hours or earn a 1/2 credit hour for participating in 7.5 contact hours during the conference. 

Depending on how much credit you sign up for and what parts of the conference you are attending, you may need to supplement your time by watching recorded session.  Please see the chart below to see the sessions that will count for credit.

There is an additional fee for credit (see below), please bring a check made out to CSM to the conference and pay at the registration table or mail your check to CAEE, 1536 Wynkoop St. Suite 314, Denver, CO 80202.

Certificate of Participation and National Association of Interpretation Credit: A certificate of participation is available upon request for attendees that would like to apply their participation towards NAI re-certification or other professional development documentation. Email [email protected] to request.

To receive credit:

  1. Download and document each session that you attend on the Session Record Form.
  2. Confirm your attendance in virtual sessions by commenting in chat at least once during the session.  (Be sure your name is listed correctly on Zoom, so we can find you!)  Confirm your attendance at in-person workshops by having the presenter sign off directly on the form.
  3. If you would like to receive a grade of an A, write 3-4 paragraphs describing how you will be implementing what you learned at the conference into your education efforts. Be specific: number of learners, age of learners, unit or standards targeted, probable date of implementation, any other comments or thoughts.
  4. Download the CSM Registration Form.  Email the completed CSM Registration Form, Evaluation Form and completed Session Record Form to [email protected] by October 18, 2023 and mail a check made out to "CSM Continuing Education" to CAEE, 1536 Wynkoop St, Suite 314, Denver, CO 80202.  If you attend the conference in person, you can complete the required forms onsite. 
 

Additional Instructions: 

All credit forms must be filled out and returned to CAEE by September 23rd.

½ credit = $50

  • For a Grade of B:  Attend and document* 7.5 hours of sessions or other eligible conference activities (Hours/times must match published times in Sched). Breaks, social events and meals do not count unless there is an educational component to attend.  All attendees who submitted credit documentation form will receive a grade of B.
  • For a Grade of A: All of the above plus send 3-4 paragraphs describing how you will be implementing what you learned at the conference into your education efforts. Be specific: number of learners, age of learners, unit or standards targeted, probable date of implementation, any other comments or thoughts.  Please email [email protected] by October 18, 2023 with your assignment.

1 credit = $65
