COVID-19 Precautions

After much deliberation, and in light of recent developments with the spread of COVID-19 and the recommendations from the World Health Organization and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, we have decided to postpone the Advancing EE Conference to September 2020. We are committed to the health of our eeCommunity, and by canceling large gatherings, we are doing our part to avoid any unintended spread of COVID-19.

We are working closely with Snow Mountain Ranch to make this a seamless transition from a spring conference to a fall conference for all of our attendees, presenters, and exhibitors. We will be sending more information in the coming days about dates, how to transfer your lodging and registration to the fall, or seek full refunds. Please wait to contact Snow Mountain Ranch directly until we send you further instructions.

Please save Friday, April 3rd on your calendar! Even though we may be practicing social-distancing, we believe supporting professional learning and connecting (even virtually) is critical to the work we do! We are currently exploring options for a virtual learning event.

We will be rolling out more information as soon as we have it! Please feel free to reach out to us at with any questions or concerns. We recognize that this is a stressful time and we appreciate everyone’s patience as we move forward with a plan of action.

You can find more information on COVID-19 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment regarding precautions on COVID-19. We encourage you to visit these sites for the most up-to-date information on this virus, including causes, modes of transmission, signs and symptoms, natural history/progression, treatment, prevention, and control.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Advancing Environmental Education Conference at Snow Mountain Ranch in September 2020!
