Winter Park, CO: The Headwaters River Journey
The River Journey and Beyond Exhibit: Are we drinking melted snow? How many different species depend on the Fraser River? How does water get from one side of the Continental Divide to the other? What will happen to our rivers if we don’t make a conscious effort to conserve water? The 31 immersive exhibits at Headwaters River Journey answer these questions and more in engaging, illuminating, and entertaining ways. Prepare to be enlightened, challenged and inspired as you journey through Colorado’s water history, into its future, and directly to the banks of the Fraser River flowing right outside. Open Thurs 10AM to 6PM, Fri & Sat 10AM to 8PM, and Sun 10AM to 6PM. Click here for more information.
CAEE has secured a group rate of $8/person for anyone who would like to visit on Thursday afternoon. Please note, CAEE cannot provide transportation but we would be happy to help coordinate carpools. If you are interested in visiting the center, please be sure to add that option when registering for the conference.
