EE Teaching Practices Cohort

Do you want to build your skills in research-based, tested EE teaching practices and materials; and be part of a community of practice with whom to share expertise, problem solve, and build relationships?

Then join CAEE and other environmental educators for a mult-part community of practice in which you get the training, tools, and support from your peer community to transform the way that you teach EE. Topics covered include strategies for:

  • Engaging students directly with nature
  • Making your instruction more student-centered
  • Learning how to sequence your lessons based on the research-based learning cycle

This is a multi-part community of practice that includes two full day in-person gatherings as well as four virtual 2-3 hour gatherings. The expectation is by joining this cohort you are committing to the full series, which will take place over the course of approximately four months (see schedule below):

Snow/Refund Policy: The in-person workshops will take place rain, snow or shine. If you need to cancel your registration we request that you do so at least 7 days prior to the first session in order to receive a full refund.

Note: Because this series is based on peer collaboration, a minimum of 10 participants is needed. If the minimum is not reached by the registration deadline, you will receive a full refund.
