Natural Resource Careers Train-the-Trainer Workshop - Durango
Join us to explore tools to help you support teens and young adults interested in natural resource careers!
Workshop Highlights:
- Get to know the How-To Guide for Pursuing a Career in Natural Resources and brand new greenpathways.org website - and how you can use them in your programs.
- Participate in activities you can use to engage your audiences in natural resource career exploration.
- Plan future training opportunities for your audiences using the tools provided.
Who should attend?
- Government agencies, non-profits and businesses interested in building pathways for youth to enter the natural resource field
- K-12 and higher education institutions interested in connecting their students to natural resource career information
- Environmental education providers, youth corps, and other youth-serving organizations interested in how they can utilize career development tools to serve as better career mentors to their participants
Thanks to the generous support of the US Forest Service, lunch will be provided and all attending organizations will receive kits with hard copies of the "How-To Guide" and digital resources including activities, handouts and presentations.
