Biodiversity Blitz: PLT Workshop

Registration is closed for this event
Biodiversity Blitz for grades 3-5 invites learners to investigate variability among species in an ecosystem, and how this variability – or biodiversity – helps sustain life on Earth.

Connect with other educators and receive the latest PLT materials in this interactive online training. During the live Zoom session, participants will meet other educators from around the state, engage in hands-on activities, and learn helpful tips for delivering this new curriculum. There will be fabulous door prizes and everyone will receive access to the downloadable activity collections.

PLT’s new activity collections provides content in support of an identified theme for a particular grade level. Each collection offers hands-on activities for teachers and nonformal educators, youth group leaders and home schoolers, to connect youth to nature and the outdoors. Designed to be flexible, the activities that comprise each collection can be used as individual, stand-alone lessons, or all together as a cohesive unit of instruction using a storyline technique.
